Can a text chat become a video chat halfway through?
Not during a conversation. The mode is chosen before each match, so end the chat, pick video, and your next stranger sees you on camera.
Is an account required to start yapping?
No. You can jump in as a guest straight away. Signing in later keeps your coins and settings with you when you change phones or browsers.
Is there a Yapping app to download?
